X marks the spot where a new extra hole would have to be punched in the "special length" (longer) "Chronissimo" to fit a 6.5 inch wrist as claimed by another dealer on the web - it's in the padding that's a key design element of the "Chronissimo." The watch in the photograph is the standard 1 3/4" long springbar to springbar.

Sizing on the longer "special length" Chronissimo

I made the photo above for one of my customers who has a 6.5" wrist.

Apparently he'd been confused by advertising of another seller that said the special length (longer) "Chronissimo" "fits comfortably any wrist size 6.5 inches and above."

As one customer wrote me, "I have a 7.25 inch wrist and I tried the longer "special length" "Chronissimo" on my Rolex Submariner Date and it just did not fit. I buckled it to the last (smallest size) hole and the watch strap was so loose the watch just rolled around on my wrist.

You can see for yourself in the photo above.

With an thick watch, the measurements shift a bit - but definitely not enough for the "special length" (longer) Chronissimo to work on a 6.5 wrist.

The custom short XS Chronissimo will fit a smaller wrist - I'd recommend it for a wrist @ 6.75 inches to @ 7 1/2 inches. Please see the photograph above.
