The RHD-1 is compact, so it won't take up a lot of space.  

The depth is about 9 1/4", width @ 4 5/8" and the height is

about 8"

Turns per day (TPD) can be set for 650, 785, 950, 1150 and 1440 using the dip switches at top left in the photograph.  

The direction of turns can be set by the rocker switch in the center for clockwise, counter-clockwise and bi-directional

Your watch is rests on a soft foam cushion - it actually feels like memory foam.   

The microprocessor controlled motor rotates the watch 360 degrees and then pauses until the next cycle.  Settings for TPD are shown in the illustration below.

Turns per day (TPD) and the direction of the turns are critically important to winding watches properly.
