Di-Modell’s mottos are "Perfection is our passion" and "Perfection in Detail." Their watch straps live up to both.

Di-Modell watchstraps are hand-crafted in Germany. The "Deluxe Collection" of Di-Modell watchstraps include additional features not found on watchstraps made by other manufacturers - a patented Aero-Lining and a nifty loop anchor that’s also patented by Di-Modell.

On their website Di-Modell has put together an excellent illustrated page detailing the construction of their leather watchstraps including those in their "Deluxe Collection" including the patented Aero lining and loop anchor.

In this collection I’ve included a variety of Di-Modell’s watchstraps in leathers from Alligator, Teju lizard and crocodile to sharkskin and calfskin. Prices range from $32.95 to $149.95

from premium Alligator hides.

It’s a fully-padded watchstrap almost 5.5 mm thick at the lugs and thinning down to about 3.2 mm where it buckles so the deployant clasps I offer fit it perfectly.

Made by Di-Model in Germany, the "Chronissimo" is made of a matt black calfskin specially tanned and crafted to be waterproof to 100 meters. Available only in black with white contrasting stitching.

Like all "carbon" straps, Di-Modell’s "Carbon Chrono waterproof " is premium calfskin crafted to look like carbon fiber. This one has a few kickers, a built-in deployant clasp with push button release and a fold-over flip lock, Di-Modell’s patented Aero lining, and it’s rated waterproof to 100 meters by Di-Modell.

Standard length is a bit longer than "regular" length straps - again to accommodate thicker chronos and other thicker watches that sit farther off the wrist @ 3 1/8" x 4 ¾" Thickness at the lugs is about 5 mm.

Padding & Thickness - Medium-padded watch straps are about 4 mm thick at the lugs. Fully-padded watch straps are about 5 mm at the lugs. Watch straps with both types of padding generally "thin down" to between 3 and 4 mm at the buckle.

Buckle sizes - 16 mm watch straps have 16 mm buckles; 18 mm watch straps have 16 mm buckles; 20 mm watch straps have 18 mm buckles; the 22 mm watch Italian-made watch straps have 18 mm buckles. Except the Bros Croco- Sport which has 20 mm buckles on the 22 mm watchstrap.
