Alligator watch straps – "Bamboo" & large scale patterns

There’s no "best" scale pattern for alligator watch straps. Some watch collectors prefer the "Bamboo" patterns of the two watch straps at left and right, and some collectors who prefer the less rectangiular large scale patterns of the straps in the middle of the photograph.

No watch straps made of natural alligator leather will have "cookie cutter" consistant patterns. If they did, most folks would think they were "fake" alligator - calfskin, or other leather printed with alligator patterns.

But, a real alligator leather watch strap should have enough uniformity so that it’s aesthetically pleasing. Of all the watch straps I seen from scores of manufacturers, these by the manufacturer I’ve selected, are consistantly the "best" or best-looking scale patterns and they’re made of the finest alligator leather I’ve seen used by any manufacturer.
