stunning and extremely rare watch - M0 (1960)

This watch is gorgeous and in mint condition. The movement is a factory stamped M1 gold tone movement. The movement in this watch is extremely rare and impossible to find. Most, nearly all gold tone movements were made after M8 (1968). This movement is a factory original gold tone movement date stamped M1 (1961). The watch comes complete with an equally rare "baby alligator" strap with white gold filled tuning for buckle and hang tag.

Case: Completely original, mint condition, solid 14kt white gold case with super crisp factory stamping on the case back. The case has very little wear considering it’s 45 years old. It would be extremely difficult to find a nicer Alpha in this condition.

Crystal & Hands: Genuine NOS Accutron luminous dot crystal. The crystal has the original luminous dots and is in perfect "new" condition. The luminous is original and doesn’t glow as it did 40+ years ago. I left the luminous original to maintain the originality of the watch. The hands are in perfect condition and are completely correct for this style Spaceview.

Movement: 100% original, rare and pristine gold tone movement date stamped M1 (1961). The movement was completely serviced and adjusted to run properly on the readily available 387S battery. This particular movement is the only one I’ve ever seen dated this year.

Strap: Beautiful original NOS genuine Accutron "baby alligator" strap with white gold filled tuning fork buckle. This strap is as rare as the movement in the watch. There are many lizard straps but only a few Accutron alligator straps. I thought it was only fitting it belonged on this watch.
