| Sports watches from Audemars Piguet are quite superb, as all AP watches are. This watch is functioning as new and has been keeping dead on time - about +/-1 sec/day sitting on my watch table. After several price increases in 2003 on this model they are tough to find for under $9k, especially with the black dial. The condition is a solid near mint-95%. There’s one small mark (<1mm) on the 5 o’clock bezel from a poorly executed strap change done by the previous owner (not visible while reading the time).
