All double-push button deployants are the same, right.?
Definitely not.
What I would describe as "budget" deployants are offered by an assortment of sellers on watch forums, eBay and the Net and a variety of manufacturers brand names.
Sellers of these "budget" deployants often describe them as "high quality" butterfly deployants or "premium quality". That’s a bit of a "stretch" as you can see in the photo below.
To advertise those "budget" deployants sellers tend to show only the top of the closed deployant - it’s only "photogenic side."
The photograph below is a close-up of the mechanism of what I’d describe as a basic " budget" double-fold push button deployant clasp. It’s representative of this type of budget deployant and is sold sold on web watch forums and eBay for prices up to $39.95 for the stainless steel model.
