A truly unique pilot’s watch.  These historical commemorative watches were created Aristo Watch GmbH, of Pforzheim, Germany to mark the importance of the Messerschmitt 262 in the history of aviation.

The Me 262 transcends it’s origins as the world’s first operational jet-powered fighter aircraft.

At the end of the Second World War, captured Me 262s played an important role in the development of the United State’s jet aircraft program.

Foremost of those involved in the U.S. efforts with the Me 262 was a group of American pilots and mechanics known as "Watson’s Whizzers" after their leader, Colonel "Hal" Watson.

Crafted of stainless steel, this pilot’s watch is 44 mm in diameter, 12 mm thick and has a 10 mm diameter crown. It features an ETA 25-jewel 2824-2 auto-winding movement with a custom decorated rotor. The crystal is sapphire and the watch has a mineral glass back for viewing the movement. It also has a rotating bezel with a luminious white marker. Water resistance to 5 ATM. Each watch in the series is individually numbered and is supplied in a specially-designed case.
